SECTION 1
About USTCP For Me
General information about what USTCP For Me is, who’s behind it, and our mission to make Tax Court Non-Attorney Admission Examination preparation accessible to the tax professional community.
What is USTCP For Me?
Who is behind USTCP For Me?
Mike is personally funding the development of the platform and building it with help from USTCPs, attorneys, CPAs, EAs, and other professionals who volunteer their knowledge, materials, and time.
Is USTCP For Me affiliated with the U.S. Tax Court?
For official examination dates, applications, admission requirements, rules, and other official information, candidates should always consult the United States Tax Court.
Why is USTCP For Me free?
We believe access to quality preparation shouldn’t depend on someone’s ability to afford an expensive review course. Our goal is to lower barriers to preparation and build a professional community where educational resources and knowledge can be shared.
SECTION 2
Cost & Membership
Information about pricing, what’s included, and how to join the platform.
Is USTCP For Me really free?
Yes. During our 2027 Founding Access period, the educational resources released through the platform are available to registered members without a course enrollment fee or credit card.
Optional live-training experiences, third-party materials, and other clearly identified services may have separate costs. The planned 2027 live learning experiences have separate registration fees.
Will USTCP For Me always be free?
Our goal is to keep a substantial core of USTCP For Me freely available.
As the platform grows, optional advanced technology, personalized services, CPE or CE programs, live-training experiences, or other offerings may have a fee. Any paid offering will be clearly identified before someone chooses to use or purchase it.
How do I join?
Click Join Free and complete the registration process.
After completing your registration and professional profile, you can access the member features currently available, including the member dashboard, editable profile, community feed and forums, study points and leaderboard, and secure material submission. Additional learning resources will be added as they are released.
Do I have to buy books or other materials?
As the curriculum develops, we may recommend or use third-party books and reference materials for deeper study. If a particular program requires outside materials, that requirement will be clearly explained before you enroll or participate.
SECTION 3
How the Program Works
Learn what’s available now, what’s coming, and how the platform is designed to help you prepare for the Tax Court Non-Attorney Admission Examination.
What’s available right now?
The member platform is live. Registered members can currently use free member accounts, the member dashboard, editable professional profiles, the community feed and forums, study points and leaderboard, secure material submission, and volunteer and sponsor opportunities.
Learning content is being added carefully. The annotated historical exam archive, one-page exam summaries, and Exam Genome topic analysis are among the next planned releases.
What’s still being built?
We’re also exploring personalized AI-assisted learning and remediation as the platform develops.
What is the Exam Genome?
Instead of simply giving students old exams, we’re analyzing what was tested, how frequently topics appeared, how questions were structured, and how testing patterns changed over time.
That intelligence will help shape the curriculum, practice questions, assessments, and study recommendations.
Is this a live class?
The core Tax Court Non-Attorney Admission Examination preparation platform is being designed primarily for self-paced online study.
USTCP For Me also has two optional live learning experiences planned for 2027: virtual Intensive Live Instruction on May 18 and 19, and an in-person Final Review & Simulated Exam in Philadelphia on October 26 and 27.
Do you guarantee I’ll pass the Tax Court Non-Attorney Admission Examination?
USTCP For Me can provide instruction, resources, practice, assessments, and tools to help you prepare, but passing ultimately depends on your knowledge, preparation, and performance on the examination.
SECTION 4
Studying & Learning
Details about the curriculum, subjects covered, practice materials, progress tracking and CPE/CE.
What subjects will the course cover?
Lessons and study activities will be organized to help students build knowledge and practice applying it in an examination setting.
Will there be practice questions and assessments?
The platform is being designed to include practice questions, assessments, historical exam questions, and eventually simulated examination experiences so students can apply what they’ve learned and identify areas requiring additional study.
Will the system track my progress?
The goal is for students to be able to leave the platform, return later, and continue from where they stopped.
Will the system help identify what I need to study?
As the educational system develops, student progress and performance will be used to help identify areas that may require additional study, practice, or remediation rather than treating every student as though they have identical strengths and weaknesses.
Can I study at my own pace?
Students will be able to work through available lessons and resources on their own schedules while following a structured path through the examination curriculum.
Do you offer CPE or CE?
Estimated CPE and CE are planned for the two 2027 live learning experiences.
- May 18 & 19 virtual Intensive Live Instruction: estimated 16 CPE / 8 CE.
- October 26–27 in-person Final Review & Simulated Exam: estimated 12 CPE / 6 CE.
These credit amounts are estimates and may change based on the completed programs. Final eligibility, requirements, and applicable approval information will be provided before registration.
SECTION 5
Contributing & Volunteering
How you can help grow the platform and get involved with the community.
Can I contribute materials to USTCP For Me?
Yes. USTCP For Me is a collaborative educational project. Our greatest current need is old graded Tax Court Non-Attorney Admission Examinations.
You may also contribute original study notes and outlines, practice questions, case summaries, checklists, reference sheets, and other original examination-preparation materials that you are legally permitted to provide through the Contribute Materials page.
Uploads are private and accessible only to authorized USTCP For Me administrators. Uploaded materials are not displayed to other members or published on the website.
Can I volunteer to help USTCP For Me?
Yes. USTCPs, attorneys, CPAs, EAs, and other qualified professionals can volunteer their knowledge and experience.
Current opportunities include serving as an instructor, helping with course curriculum, participating as an advisory board member, or offering other professional assistance. Use the Volunteer to Help Others form to tell us how you would like to participate.
SECTION 6
Live Learning Experiences
Information about the planned 2027 virtual and in-person live learning experiences, costs, and participation.
Will there be live USTCP exam-preparation experiences?
Yes. Two optional live learning experiences are planned for 2027: a virtual Intensive Live Instruction program in May and an in-person Final Review & Simulated Exam in Philadelphia in October.
These experiences are intended to complement the self-paced online platform with live instruction, intensive review, interaction with instructors and other candidates, and examination preparation.
What live learning experiences are planned for 2027?
Two optional 2027 live learning experiences are currently planned:
- May 18 & 19, 2027 — Intensive Live Instruction: a two-day virtual learning experience with focused, instructor-led examination preparation. Registration is planned at $495, with an estimated 16 CPE / 8 CE.
- October 26–27, 2027 — Final Review & Simulated Exam: an in-person program in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with focused instruction and a four-hour simulated examination. The venue is still to be determined. Registration is planned at $695, with an estimated 12 CPE / 6 CE.
Registration is coming soon. Dates, locations, instructors, formats, and estimated credit hours remain subject to change until finalized.
Will the live learning experiences cost money?
Yes. The planned registration price is $495 for the May virtual Intensive Live Instruction program and $695 for the October in-person Final Review & Simulated Exam.
Participants attending the October event should also expect to be responsible for their own travel, lodging, meals, and other personal expenses. Final registration policies will be provided before registration opens.
Are the planned live learning experiences guaranteed?
No. Planned live learning experiences depend on factors such as instructor and volunteer availability, participant interest, venue availability, and other logistical considerations.
Dates, locations, instructors, formats, prices, and estimated credit hours may change. Registered members will receive updates as plans are finalized.
Do I have to attend a live learning experience to use the platform?
No. The live learning experiences are completely optional.
The online platform is being developed so students can prepare for the Tax Court Non-Attorney Admission Examination regardless of whether they attend either the virtual or in-person live experience.
SECTION 7
Accounts & Access
Information about creating and managing your account.
Do I need an account to use USTCP For Me?
An account is required for the member learning platform and individualized features so USTCP For Me can maintain your professional profile, learning progress, assessments, and other member-specific information.
Why do I have to complete a professional profile?
It also allows the platform to associate your learning activity and progress with your account as additional educational features become available.
Is my email address my username?
Use an email address you can access because important account messages, verification codes, password-reset links, and program updates may be sent to that address.
What if I forget my password?
The system will send a secure password-reset link to the email address associated with your account.
I started registration but didn’t finish. Do I have to start over?
The USTCP For Me registration system is designed to recognize your account’s onboarding status and return you to the appropriate remaining step after you sign in.
What happens after I finish my profile?
After completing your professional profile, you can access the member dashboard and the member features currently available, including the community feed and forums, study points and leaderboard, and secure material submission.
Course pages are currently previews, and learning content will become available as it is released.
